The DAUGHTERS OF THE MOVEMENT carry the oral history, cultural values, and wisdom passed down to them
by some revolutionary leaders who turned the tide of American history. They are sisters who sat at the feet of those who were on the front lines of the Civil Rights Movement. Inspired by the Gees Bend Quilters, included has created a communications platform that celebrates legacy, community, and women. DAUGHTERS OF THE MOVEMENT actively lead on the frontline for the never-ending struggle towards justice and equality in our nation.
