Abled Differently

While serving as a Social Equity and Inclusion fellow at RISD, her alma mater, included principal and founder Rene Payne worked with human resources to produce a book about RISDiversity. Later, for Abled Differently, one of that program’s initiatives, she conceived  the physical and online exhibition of the artwork and stories of RISD community members living with various physical, mental, cognitive learning and chronic health disabilities. Through this showcase the larger RISD community gained insight into how disability informed the creative practice and daily lives of their fellow students, colleagues, and alums.

The Abled Differently exhibit was honored by Graphis Design International and published in the Graphis Design Design Annual 2021.
